Landing in a crosswind.

One of the oldest Soviet aircraft is the AN-2. lands at the northern airfield.
Very strong wind, almost a hurricane.
I know of cases when, in a headwind, an AN-2 landed without running along the runway at all - or even across the strip.
This aircraft is one of the oldest, largest single-engine biplane. The first flight was in 1947. In total, more than 18,000 of these aircraft were produced. Many planes have been flying for more than 40 years, some have flown for more than 20,000 hours. The aircraft is used in various modifications - sports, training, educational, medical, passenger, transport etc.

To replace the AN-2, a new all-composite light aircraft TVS-2DTS "Baikal" has now been developed.
